COMPANY BACKGROUND
The Reno Aces, Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks is Northern Nevada’s premier professional sports organizations located at Greater Nevada Field in the heart of downtown Reno. POSITION SUMMARY
The Content Creator and Broadcaster is primarily responsible for covering commentary of Reno Aces games for all home and away games. This a full-time, seasonal position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Collaborates with the Marketing Department to produce content for Aces social and videoboard
• Hosts and assists in the production of the Aces Loaded Podcast
• Responsible for the Aces Minute, a :60 video game preview prior to each game
• Conduct a postgame interview of a player or coach at the conclusion of each game either via Zoom or in-person in conjunction with the Communications team

• Cover play-by-play commentary for all Reno Aces games, including any additional postseason games
• Assists in broadcast production and run-of-show
•  Reads in-game sponsorship, advertisements, and promotions
•  Runs commercials during inning breaks as designated by the club

• Hosts various Aces events throughout the year, such as:
• Season Ticket Member Luncheons
• Youth Baseball/Softball Chalk Talks
• Annual Hot Stove Event
• Other events as assigned

• Available to do external media interviews, either in-person or virtually, as requested by the club
• Attends weekly marketing meetings (virtual or in-person)
• Assists with operations in the implementation of travel plans/troubleshooting, as needed
• Will be point of contact for traveling party while team is on the road
• Meets with travel coordinator prior to each road trip

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to work all games, both home and road
• Previous on-air experience preferred
• Ability to shoot and edit videos, commentary, etc.
• Extensive knowledge of baseball preferred but also the ability to learn and study the league and players
• Self-starter with a strong work ethic, high attention to detail and organization, and strong time management skills

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work nights and weekends as required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
• Must be able to talk, listen, and speak clearly for several hours during a game
