Grocery Shopii is hiring a Part Time, remote Culinary Specialist!

The Culinary Specialist is responsible for assisting the Culinary Director and Head of Product in performing tasks related to maintaining and improving the recipe content within the Shopii system. This role is approximately 80% data / admin driven with the need to have a strong culinary understanding, about 20%.

Location: Remote; Charlotte, NC area preferred

Reports to: Culinary Director

Team Dynamics: This position is part of the Culinary team. Works collaboratively with the Culinary Director, Head of Product, sales & marketing teams.

Work Hours: Approximately 10 hours/week

Hourly Rate of Pay: $20.00/hr.

Some of the things you’ll be doing:

· Continuously review and QA published content in the system for accuracy, grammar, imagery, tagging, logos and other required elements from shopper lens.

· Vetting of new recipe content data making sure they meet Shopii content requirements and management of the cleansing/remediation of that content.

· Manage Tags and ongoing content Tagging efforts.

· Assisting team members in content ingestion/product matching questions.

· Assisting Culinary Director in creating and maintaining meal planning creation and execution.

· Assist Culinary and Product team in ongoing content improvement efforts.

The background you’ll need:

Some hands-on experience in the Food/Culinary industry, Educational background in a closely related field is a plus!
