Responsibilities

  • Remote position.
  • The IT Functional/Technical Operations Director manages one or more team(s) accountable for the development implementation management refinement and/or support of technologies systems and information critical to Dignity Health’s day to day business operations. The incumbent will oversee one or more large teams focused on a portion of the development or support of one or more information system(s) throughout the Information System Life Cycle.
  • Supervises staff including prioritizing and assigning work; conducting performance evaluations; ensuring staff is trained; ensuring that employees follow policies and procedures; maintaining a safe working environment; and making hiring termination and disciplinary recommendations.
  • Manages assigned budget and assists with the annual budget development process. Prepares cost estimates and budget recommendations. Monitors and controls expenditures. Assists in planning and the development of short and long term goals. Coordinates operational and program efforts in alignment with goals and objectives related to assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Ensures alignment with internal departments executives external organizations and public representatives. Represents the organization at a variety of meetings public events on committees and/or other related events regarding services programs projects and facilities.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:
  • Master’s degree in related technical/business areas or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years of technical and business experience; Minimum of five (5) years Information Technology Leadership Experience; Leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and influencing senior level management and key stakeholders; Demonstrated ability to launch and deliver multiple IT projects on time and within budget required.

Pay Range

$59.53 - $86.32 /hour
