DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Beaverbrook STEP, Inc. a private, non-profit, W/NPO certified organization seeks a Director of Finance for an immediate opening in its Watertown office. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment that puts a premium on teamwork. This position presents a qualified candidate the unique opportunity to join an established team within our Finance Division. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the non-profit sector and have practical knowledge of all aspects of Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and EOHHS contracting.
In collaboration with the Executive Director (“ED”), the Director of Finance will provide strategic leadership to the organization and provide leadership to the finance department. The Director will be responsible for the entire range of financial activity in the Agency including fiscal management, contracting and accounting functions including AP/AR. The Director of Finance will implement policies and procedures on fiscal and accounting matters, banking, disbursement of funds and payroll. The Director of Finance is also responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of systems and controls and preparing monthly reports and balance sheets for the Board of Directors. The Director of Finance will provide on-going feedback to the ED and will be expected to be a key decision-making member of the management team. This position reports to the ED and supervises a team of three financial assistants.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
