This is a First Shift position, the work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm. The location is Bridgeville, Pennsylvania.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Identify hand dressing, polishing and under-filing needs as per blueprints.
• Statically and dynamically balance impeller castings.
• Using die grinders, complete intricate profiling on castings made from a variety of steels.
• May include hydro-pressure testing of stainless-steel castings.
• Daily use of air tools to remove material from castings in a high precision manner.
• Remove casting imperfections and abnormalities by hand using air driven tools.
• Other duties may be required.

REQUIRES ABILITY TO:

• Understand the product and process flow of specific department.
• Establish and maintain open lines of communications with all associates.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Able to handle work accurately and swiftly under tight time constraints.
• Take the initiative and ownership for their area.
• Able to resolve problems quickly.
• Work overtime hours as needed, including weekends.
• Possess a strong mechanical aptitude.

TRAINING & EDUCATION REQUIRED:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literate.
• Ability to read and follow route sheets/Blue Prints.
• Work well with people.
• Product/Process knowledge.
• Strong communication skills.
• Self –Starter.
• High level of organization skills.
