Our products are all built in the "House of Fire", our Mukilteo Washington facility encompassing over 11 acres of manufacturing under one roof.

Job Brief

We are looking for an electrical engineer who will help us advance our electrical products. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical systems and making improvements to our current systems.

Responsibilities

• Research, plan, design, prototype, test, and debug high-reliability and high-performance electronic devices that meet Travis Industries’ high standards.
• Reviewing electrical engineering plans, specifications and reports.
• Conducting tests and inspections of electrical systems and equipment.
• Collaborating with engineers and technicians.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience requirements

• Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Electrical Engineering preferred (open to right out of school).
• Minimum of 3-5 years relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Desired Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Embedded Systems Programming using C and PCB Design using Altium or other ECAD software.
• Previous experience designing line voltage control circuitry.
• Familiarity developing mobile apps and IOT devices a plus!
• Experience designing bed of nails style test fixtures preferred, but not required.
• Must be a self-starter willing to learn and take on new challenges.
• Knowledge of industry design and documentation standards.
• Experience with mechanical assemblies and manufacturing technique design.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally as part of an established and growing team.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
