Experienced Landscaping/ Lawn Maintenance Foreman Job at Green Biz Nursery
Hours: Full Time, Can vary based on Crew Schedule
Green Biz has been a leader in the greater Fayetteville, NC area in landscaping and plant care since it was founded in 1979. We provide high quality services to residential and commercial clients.
Description: Foreman will perform various landscape services for commercial and residential projects. This can include demolition, plant/tree installation, patio/walkway installation, and sod installation. They will supervise a crew of 3-5 technicians. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
- Manage and supervise assigned crew members
- Clearly report problems to Supervisor
- Train crew to complete job within established time frames
- Plan and organize work for crew members on job
- Initiate and complete all required paperwork
- Interact with clients when necessary
- Enforce all safety policies and procedures
- Maintain equipment in good operating condition
- Encourage motivation and advancement of crew members within training program
Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:
- Must be detail oriented and enjoy working outdoors
- Must be capable of operating various small engine equipment
- Must be able to tolerate a variety of environmental conditions
- Must be willing and able to do physically demanding tasks
- Must be able to lift over 50 lbs
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday, and some weekends and Holidays
Eligible candidates will have/be able to:
- Valid Driver’s License
- A minimum of 1 year Landscaping Experience
- Pass a Background Check
- Pass a Drug Test
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
