We are looking for a full time Receptionist Float at our fun and friendly Peak View Optometry locations in Colorado Springs.

Duties will include scheduling appointments, insurance verification and explanation of benefits to patients, answering the phones, and invoicing exam services. Will be responsible for checking the patients in for their appointments when they arrive, explaining paperwork to patients, and collecting co-pays and payments at the end of the exam when patients check out. Must be very organized and responsible, self-motivated and a fast learner. Must be able to stay positive and very friendly to patients and other staff members in a fast paced environment. We do cross train all of our staff to also pre-test patients for their examination with the doctor, so interest in this part of our field is ideal! Examples of these duties include: reviewing health history with patient, taking visual acuities, performing lensometry and entering glasses and contact lens data into the electronic health record on our iPads, color vision, depth perception, and training new contact lens wearers how to put their contact lenses in their eyes and how to remove the lenses.

4 days a week

Pay:
Hourly pay PLUS daily bonus available
