5 Star Plastic Surgery Clinic General Manager Job Description
Job Brief
A 5-Star San Francisco Plastic Surgery Clinic is seeking a highly experienced and motivated General Manager to lead and manage the daily operations of our cosmetic surgery clinic. The General Manager will be second-in-command and responsible for the efficiency of business. The General Manager will report directly to the CEO.
The goal of the General Manager position is to create and implement effective strategies to improve operational efficiency, boost productivity, and achieve the Clinic's stated goals and objectives.
Responsibilities
- Work with the board and CEO to establish growth and profitability targets
- Develop and implement operational strategies and plans to achieve company goals and objectives
- Build the team, systems, and other resources necessary to execute the strategy and drive measurable results
- Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
- Build a unified team around the shared vision to drive the business forward.
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the company, including staffing, logistics, and project management
- Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and capitalize on business opportunities and overcome constraints
- Analyze and interpret key performance indicators to make data-driven decisions to ensure operational efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee company P&L and departmental budgets
- Work with accounting/finance teams on forecasting and cash management
- Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and vendors
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational management, preferably in a small business healthcare setting
- Proven track record of leading and managing teams to achieve operational excellence
- Strong strategic planning and decision-making skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret data to make data-driven decisions
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree a plus
