We are looking for an experienced Research Associate / Sr. Research Associate – In Vivo to join our Insourcing Solutions team, located in South San Francisco, CA.

In the Research Associate / Sr. Research Associate role, you can do that by working with teams to design and perform studies for in vivo efficacy, candidate selection and ex vivo MOA, pharmacodynamic and biomarker discovery and have the opportunity to develop experience in Flow Cytometry for CAR-T pharmacokinetics.

What you will do!

In the Research Associate / Sr. Research Associate role, you will work closely with discovery researchers to support target discovery and next generation adoptive cell therapies. You will be supporting the pre-clinical in vivo translational immunology group effort that utilizes tumor xenograft models for discovery and IND-enabling studies for CAR-T adoptive cell therapy. Other duties include-

· Design and perform rodent dosing studies, caliper tumor measures, BLI imaging analysis, blood and tissue sampling, Data recording and analysis

· Opportunity to develop experience in Flow Cytometry for CAR-T pharmacokinetics

What You Will Bring

· B.S./Masters in tumor biology, biotechnology or related fields with 2+ (RA) or 4-6+ (SRA) years of relevant industry experience.

· Hands-on experience with all aspects of running tumor models

· Experience with various tumor models to demonstrate mechanisms of action

Substantial expertise with tumor xenograft models, Caliper tumor volume analysis and intravenous dosing are essential. This role requires an individual with outstanding self-initiative, data analysis and communication skills.
