Inventory Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and reliable Inventory Manager to join our expanding company. Your chief goal in this position will be to monitor and report on our company’s inventory levels. You will be responsible for developing inventory tracking systems, reviewing levels of supplies, ordering new materials, and performing a daily analysis.

The ideal candidate for the Inventory Manager position is a trustworthy professional with outstanding record-keeping and analytical abilities. The chosen candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to interpret and analyze large amounts of data.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement an inventory tracking system to optimize inventory control procedures.
  • Examine the levels of supplies and raw material to determine shortages.
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the flow of shipments to and from various destinations.
  • Document daily deliveries and shipments to update inventory using Excel spreadsheets and/or other inventory control software.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
  • Evaluate new inventory to ensure it’s ready for shipment.
  • Perform daily analysis to predict potential inventory problems.
  • Order new supplies to avoid inefficiencies or excessive surplus.
  • Analyze different suppliers to obtain the best cost-effective deals.
  • Coordinate with pickup locations to arrange pick ups in a timely manner
  • Make sure bill of lading invoices are sent to appropriate personnel
  • Notify team members of any pertinent schedule changes
  • Coordinate with transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of both inbound and outbound shipments
  • Exercise best judgement within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actions
  • Proactively work to assist in achieving organizational goals and objectives
  • Perform other duties as needed

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent (required), associate degree, or higher-level degree in business administration, finance, or relevant field (preferred).
  • A minimum of 1-3 years experience in a similar role.
  • Solid knowledge of data analysis, inventory management software, and forecasting techniques.
  • An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.
  • Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
