This position is responsible for discussing a variety of eye care services including Lasik and Cataract consultations with our existing and newly recruited eye care providers. This will eventually be a 100% remote position. It is responsible for coordinating with individual Eye Care Provider offices as well as assisting in securing conversations.  The Jr. Area Manager is responsible for handling 200+ accounts as well as helping to initiate conversations with corporate accounts. This person must work seamlessly with the Area Managers.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a regular cadence of communication with all accounts not less than quarterly
  • Ensure all accounts have access to the appropriate NVISION materials, staff training, surgeon discussions, continuing education sessions and patient handling protocols
  • Develops and maintains in-depth knowledge of services, market, and area affiliates
  • Analyzes the market dynamics to ensure ECPs are kept abreast of new technology that may be valuable for their patients
  • Establishes and manages high quality affiliate relationships by maintaining consistent messaging, executing planned programs, scheduling and follow-up with medical educational programs, and achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Makes compelling and persuasive sales calls to designated optometric practices resulting in referrals
  • Develops and improves product knowledge, procedure knowledge, communication and selling skills through self-learning and active participation in agreed training programs.
  • Establishes and executes strategies required within selling environment that will protect business generated.
  • Research and call on corporate accounts to open doors for the Territory managers and introduce NVISION
  • Will maintain a small area of accounts to call on

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:     
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and three or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:                                                
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.  Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, patients, and the general public.
