Essential Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Banks loan servicing function including process and procedures, documentation, boarding, selling & funding of FNMA loans, image capture, participations, balancing GLs, and loan servicing functions.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop loan servicing staff.
  • Implement and maintain functional policies/procedures and ensure an efficient quality assurance program.
  • Ensure compliance with banking laws and regulations related to the lending and servicing environment.
  • Understand and maintain Fiserv Premier core system, LaserPro and Encompass LOS platforms for new loan uploads.
  • Administrate servicing of sold loans under Fannie Mae servicing guidelines.
  • Responsible for monitoring and balancing general ledger accounts related to loans transactions.
  • Resolve problems, provide support, and ensure excellent customer service to all internal/external customers.
  • Responsible for ensuring timely completion of assigned BIA training for self and staff.
  • Maintain proactive internal communication with employees, lending staff, managers, and bank staff.
  • Establishment and follow procedures to ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory rules and bank policies.
  • Develop an effective quality control process, define levels to be reviewed, and set accuracy rate tolerance within and leaving the department.

Preferred Education, Experience, Technical Knowledge, and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years experience working in Loan Documenting and/or Loan Servicing operations preferred.
  • Prior experience with Fiserv Premier, Director, Encompass, LaserPro, Sageworks a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office applications.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate effectively and project a professional image when giving and taking information in writing, in person and over the phone.
  • Good interpersonal skills with the ability to work with individuals and groups at all organization levels; ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to take initiative and prioritize tasks; good time-management, organizational, problem-prevention and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong analytical ability with active listening skills.
  • Ability to work accurately with close diligence.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
