Our specialty health clinic’s primary focus is treating osteoarthritis of the knee, using x-ray and fluoroscopic guided injections. Typical treatments include hyaluronic acid and/or PRP (platelet rich plasma).

We are presently seeking a unique individual to bring their driven, fun, focused, and experienced personality for our Medical Assistant opportunity. This essential position supports our practice by coordinating and facilitating patient education, patient care management, rooming patient, patient vitals, blood draws, PRP prep, charting, provider support and admin support. The ideal candidate for this role is someone who has strong organization and problem-solver skills, is able to anticipate needs, thrives by working with people, and has a desire to advance to even more rewarding opportunities within our company.

As a team, our goals for growth and development require team-oriented collaboration and open platform brain storming. We are seeking an experienced and organized medical receptionist that is comfortable participating in the implementation of new Functional Medicine modalities, that the entire team is passionate and knowlegable about. New modalities may include nutritional supplements, chiropractic, diet/weight loss, bioidentical hormones, men’s health, plantar fasciitis and tendonitis modalities, shoulder and other joint injections. Communication, organization and open mindedness is essential.

This position is for 3 days per week, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8:30-5:30 with the potential to add Thursday in the future.

Tasks typical of the position:

• Rooming patients
• Vitals
• Charting & Auditing
• Medical devise fittings/education
• Daily procedure supply prep
• Patient phone call back-up (as needed)
• Assist with Prior Authorizations (as needed)
• Patient Education
• Fill in for Front desk reception (as needed)
• Facilitating smooth workflows for the providers and clinical team
• Supply inventory management

Preferred Education and Experience

• 2 years Verifiable experience as MA/Medical Admin
• MUST have the ability to anticipate problems
• Strong analytical skills
