Medical Receptionist Job at Colorado Pulmonary Intensivists
SUMMARY
Busy Pulmonary Office medical office seeking Front Desk Receptionist for a growing practice.
Position is a full-time, benefited position including health insurance, PTO accrual, paid holidays, and 401(k) after meeting entry requirements.

Excellent telephone and computer skills are required and front desk and AllMeds EHR experience are a plus.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include, but are not limited to, the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Greet patients and check them in for their visit.
- Review and distribute mail/faxes as necessary.
- Answering, directing, and triaging all phone calls & checking voicemail
- Responding to internet and portal leads.
- Scheduling Appointments.
- Entering patient Information/scanning patient documents.
- Managing office supplies.
- Preparing charts for following day.
- Checking Patients In & out.
- Discussing with patients and collecting copays/balances.
- Managing tasks and messages (including portal tasks).
- Day end/Close procedures & reporting to billing
- Referral Management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
This position requires good communication skills and good telephone skills and a friendly, pleasant manner. A neat, professional appearance and excellent telephone etiquette is essential. The ability to handle multiple tasks as well as switch tasks as well as a strong attention to detail is required. Team environment requires a patient and helpful demeanor to assist patients in feeling welcome, comfortable and relaxed.

Must have a high level of energy with the ability to adjust to any justifiable pace. Exhibit behavior which emphasizes compassion, quality, loyalty and conscientiousness. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, their families and staff members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $21.00 per hour
