The Department of Physical Plant at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Multi-Skilled Plumber for the 54th and Cedar Location:
Responsibilities:
- Maintenance, installation and repair of plumbing and drain systems and plumbing equipment.
- Testing and performing preventive maintenance on plumbing related equipment.
- When needed, perform repairs and installation of basic Electrical systems; HVAC systems; Carpentry and Lock repairs; Painting, Patching and Wall Coverings. Carpentry and Lock repairs; Painting, Patching and Wall Coverings.
Credentials:
Philadelphia Journeyman License is required.
Education or Equivalent Experience:
High School Diploma or GED is required. 4 years of specialized training or a recognized 4 year apprenticeship course is required. A minimum of 4 years full time plumbing experience with a bona fide plumbing contractor or employer is required. Experience in Healthcare facilities is desired.
