Job Title: Information Technology Systems Administrator

For over 37 years, Down to Earth Landscaping, Inc. has been a leader in the landscaping industry serving customers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia with expertise in Design Build, Maintenance, Irrigation, Turf Management and Snow Removal.

We are seeking an Information Technology Systems Administrator to work at the company’s headquarters located in Jackson, NJ. This position is solely (i.e. team of 1 reporting to CFO) responsible for establishing and maintaining the technology environment required to meet the needs of our fast-growing company.

Annual salary range commensurate with experience: $55,000 - $80,000

Essential Job Duties:

· Plan, execute, and manage all IT operations and resources, including network infrastructure, integration of systems and data, communication systems, hardware/software tools, cyber and facility security and streamline business processes to ensure excellent support to users

· Set up new devices as well as manage and maintain all cell phones, tablets, servers, switches, routers, firewalls, computers, laptops, wire runs, and peripherals. Ensure hardware/software licenses are up to date. Work with Human Resources to set up and/or disable accounts for new hires/terminations.

· Troubleshoot and resolve all users’ technology issues on a timely basis.

· Work with outside vendors that may provide additional oversight and support.

· Responsible for the planning, evaluation, coordination, implementation, support, and management of all technology initiatives including new software and/or devices along with maintenance, repair and upgrading of existing technology as needed.

· Create and maintain a disaster recovery, security, and data backup/restore plan.

· Document all technology processes, procedures, and schematics.

· Maintain and monitor IT asset management, an accurate department inventory, and evaluate requests for new technology.

· Coordinate the procurement, selection and deployment of organization wide hardware/software tools and supplies, initiate purchase orders and bids in accordance with budgetary limitations and organization policies.

· Assist in the development and maintenance of the organization’s technology budget, pursue alternative funding sources, and oversee and monitor contracts for services

· Support the technological needs at the corporate office

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
