Overnight Facility Monitor Job at Kreher Family Farms
It’s not your Grandfather’s farm!
Do you have overnight shift experience? Are you mechanically inclined? Do you enjoy assessing and resolving issues that arise in a farm setting?
Kreher Family Farms is looking to hire two individuals to monitor our Wayne County Egg Farm. This position takes pride in monitoring the environmental control and camera systems to ensure the health and welfare of our hens, and the security of the farm. When a potential issue does arise, this individual will be responsible for assessing the criticality and sense of urgency of the resolution, and either resolving the issue themselves or alerting the proper individuals.
Monitor
- Monitor security cameras and environmental systems
- Respond to alarms and address any building or property intrusions.
- Investigate security breaches/concerns, document events, and communicate findings with management.
- Identify critical issues quickly and accurately.
Maintenance
- Perform basic repairs and maintenance on assigned tasks and provide progress updates.
- Provide written detail of work performed.
- Communicate work status to management.
