Network Engineer
Location: Remote (CST)
Duration: 6 Months+
1) Basic networking knowledge TCP/IP, OSI layers.
2) Firewall (Next generation firewall-NGFW)-Palo Alto and Layer 2,3 devices (Switches, Routers) configuration support knowledge.
3) Basic technical knowledge on domains in security, risk and compliance side in cybersecurity.
4) Palo Alto Deployment.
5) Develop and Implement Firewall security rules based on requirement.
6) Managing Panorama Appliance for log collection and Rules forwarding.
7) OS Upgrade for Palo Alto firewalls and Panorama appliance.
8) VPN types and Configuration knowledge.
9) Splunk knowledge to run the query and dashboard creation for suspicious activity and daily operation metrics.
10) Packet analysis with Wireshark, TCPDump tools
11) Assist security incident response team as necessary following Incident Response plans.
12) Ticketing tool (ServiceNow), CMDB tool knowledge.
13) Managing and troubleshooting tickets (Incident, Change, Problem, Request).
14) Reports and SOP document creation.
15) Vendor certification (NGFW-Palo Alto)
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
