Responsibilities

• Providing administrative assistance with DLC’s intake process and creation of intake documents
• Managing, organizing, and maintaining documents in paper or electronic filing systems for attorneys and advocates
• Drafting and proofreading correspondence, toolkits, consumer materials, and legal documents
• Translating documents from English into Spanish (and vice versa)
• Providing Spanish interpretation services
• Communicating with clients and witnesses to schedule meetings, interviews, and depositions
• Providing discovery support in administrative hearing, state and federal litigation, class actions, and appellate litigation
• Collecting, examining, and organizing evidence and other legal documents
• Researching regulations, laws, and legal articles to assist with the preparation of reports, case files, and legal advice
• Assisting with producing data and reports
• Working collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation
