Payroll Specialist Job at King & McCleary Payroll Services
Local CPA firm is looking for a payroll specialist that has the skills to work in a fast-paced payroll practice.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Processing payroll and payroll taxes.
- Ensure employees are paid accurately, and in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Reconcile and resolve payroll issues, as needed.
- Answer and respond to client's requests.
- Enter in employee data: W4s, Direct Deposits, Garnishments, etc.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Handling multiple different clients
- Responsible for great client relationships.
Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of payroll and payroll tax laws
- Clear written and verbal communications
- Ability to work under tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail
- Work well in team environment
- Great multi-tasking skills
- Solid computer skills a must. Excel mandatory.
Experience:
- 3-4 years payroll or accounting experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Multi-state payroll experience a strong plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
