Permit Coordinator (Fort Myers) Job at CPH Consulting, LLC
Position Description:
CPH is a multi-disciplined Engineering and Architectural design firm that ranks in the nations Top 500 Design Firms by ENR Magazine.
CPH has an opening in its Fort Myers, Florida office for the following position:
Permit Coordinator with 2 or more years of experience.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
Must be professional and assist staff as a part of the team.
General understanding of permitting process for Site and Building development / construction
Primary duties include coordinating, completing and filing permit applications, performing land development & building code research, coordinating with multiple government agencies, preparation of permit schedules, management of permit responses
Post permit assistance including tracking shop drawing submittals, bid questions, and requests for information from contractors
Experience in Word and Excel a must.
Excellent organizational and communication skills and ability to maintain schedule & meet project deadlines is required.
Assist with administrative duties as needed.
Prior experience with an engineering, architectural, construction, public agency or related field is required.
Experience with Microsoft Office required
Experience with Deltek Vision accounting software and Smartsheet or similar scheduling software a plus.
