DESCRIPTION
A Project Manager is responsible for managing customer requirements/expectations regarding quality, cost, and delivery through execution. Our goal is to exceed expectations and ensure our customers receive an exceptional experience at Invio Automation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serve as the Project Manager for all field service projects
- Oversee launch support (roughly 2-4 installs per month)
- Coordinate with site contacts and Reed City resources for arrival details and red tag items
- Assist with leading installs on-site (rental equipment and tool coordination)
- Verify deadlines and invoice submissions as projects wrap up
- Act as central point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders on projects
- Manage change orders and work with engineering department on large scale projects
- Manage customer scope of work to ensure all contractual terms and conditions are met
- Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support customer expectations
- Develop, maintain and deliver regular progress reports to customers
- Monitor and manage customer requirements, quality, cost and timing elements of assigned projects
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and create contingency/recovery plans
- Support project progress via customer visits as required
- Demonstrate professionalism in all activities and provide efficient service to internal and external customers
- Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers in both written and verbal formats
- Must be able to travel within the continental US
- Willing to travel a minimum of 90% of work year

EDUCATION
A four-year degree in engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), manufacturing technologies or a related field is preferred; at least two years of experience managing multiple projects is required.
