Twin City Staffing is seeking a purchasing / inventory clerk for a growing manufacturer in the Mendota Heights. In this purchasing / inventory clerk role, you’ll be responsible for preparing purchase orders and completing related documentation.

Location: Mendota Heights, MN

Wage: $20+/hr., DOE

Hours: 7 am – 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Duties of the purchasing / inventory clerk:

• Prepare purchase orders and send to suppliers
• Monitor inventory quantities
• Respond to customer and supplier inquiries about order status, changes, or cancellations
• Contact suppliers to schedule expedited deliveries, resolve shortages, missed or late deliveries and other problems
• Confirm proper and timely delivery of requisitions and orders
• Calculate costs of orders and charge or forward invoices to appropriate accounts
• Ensures orders are accurately filled and efficiently
• Verify merchandise received against receiving documents

Qualifications of the purchasing / inventory clerk:

• A high school diploma /GED
• Forklift certification (will train if necessary)
• Proficient in Windows Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Good mathematical skills
