Recruiter - Talent Strategist Job at Tupelo Honey Support Office
Tupelo Honey is seeking a Talent Strategist to join the buzz at our “Hive” team. This position will report to Talent Manager, while working closely with the Director of Talent & Traininig. The Strategist will support talent efforts company-wide; including sourcing candidates, conducting phone and virtual interviews with qualified applicants, communicating with managers on their staffing needs, and posting Tupelo Honey job opportunities to various online job boards/websites. The qualified candidate should be energetic, outgoing, and motivated with a strong interest in the Talent/Training industry. Through expansive phone contact, problem solving, and interactions – the Talent Strategist will help great people find the right job within the Tupelo Honey organization.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage job posting processes with TH’s applicant tracking system, external job posting vendors, specialty job posting sites and job boards.
- Assist with administrating TH’s applicant tracking system, identify issues, and coordinate upgrades/changes as needed.
- Actively source qualified candidates through creative methods and techniques to find the most qualified talent.
- Ability to leverage social networking platforms to build connections with top tier talent.
- Phone/Virtual screening of qualified candidates based on job fulfillment priority.
- Conduct market research as requested and participate in talent strategy planning sessions.
- Provide support in off-site/virtual job fairs, open interview sessions, and college recruitment activities as needed.
- Reviews and analyzes talent needs for each store while establishing priorities and tracking necessary action to meet employment goals.
- Monitor and evaluate talent processes including recruitment, interview process, retention, onboarding, employee experience in training, offboarding, etc.
- Process new management hires in multiple systems and communicate logins.
- Responsible for monitoring and executing performance management company wide.
- Salary Allocation tracking and reporting.
- Adhere to budget requirements.
- Possible travel to stores needing assistance with hiring or training.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Human Resource Management, or related field preferred.
- Restaurant Management/Hospitality hiring experience preferred.
- Experience with Training/Content creation preferred.
- SHRM certification preferred, but not required.
- Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills.
- Capable of building solid rapport and communicating effectively.
- Exceptional research ability as it relates to sourcing qualified job applicants across the country.
- Ability to work in a forward thinking, innovative, and fast-paced office environment.
