J.R. Butler, Inc. is currently seeking a Recruiter to join our team. This is a temporary full-time, IN-OFFICE role with the possibility of being permanent and will report directly to our Recruiting Manager providing support to all levels of the organization.
The recruiter will assist in our full cycle recruitment, from identifying potential hires to interviewing and evaluating candidates. Responsibilities include sourcing candidates online, updating job ads, conducting background checks, drug tests, and lift tests. If you have experience with various job interview formats, including phone screenings and group interviews, and can help us recruit faster and more effectively, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will play an important part in building a strong employer brand for our company to ensure we attract, hire and retain the most qualified employees.

Recruiter Qualifications:
Professional and Personal Attributes:
· Ability to maintain discretion in all situations
· Pay close attention to consistency and detail
· Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor in every interaction
· Take ownership until problem resolution or necessary escalation
· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
· Able and comfortable to work in office; able to work with people of diverse backgrounds
Responsibilities:
· Assist in design and update job descriptions
· Source potential candidates from various online channels (e.g. social media such as LinkedIn, Facebook)
· Screen incoming resumes and application forms
· Interview candidates (via phone, video and in-person)
· Advertise job openings on company’s careers page, social media
· Provide shortlists of qualified candidates to hiring managers
· Send job offer emails and answer queries about compensation and benefits
· Participate in key recruiting metrics, including time-to-fill, time-to-hire and source of hire
· Assist new hires and help them onboard
Requirements:
· Proven work experience as a Recruiter or similar role OR pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Business or related field
· Familiarity with job boards and resume databases
· Solid verbal and written communication skills
Physical Requirements:
· Occasionally working in high or low temperature environments.
· Consistently: Sitting for long period of time, looking at computer screens
Compensation:
· $25 - $30/hour depending on experience
