Job Description
Residential HVAC Equipment Sales Consultants promote and sell HVAC equipment systems. Systems must be designed to accommodate local codes, manufacturers specifications for cooling capacity and physical dimensions. The systems must be designed to provide optimum cooling and climate control.
Job Duties:
- Understand the operating principles of heating, air conditioning, and work safety practices related to HVAC work.
- Knowledge of methods, tools, and equipment used in the installation and repair of heating and air conditioning equipment.
- Provide HVAC solutions and designs to improve the customers AC system.
- Prepare proposals based on all labor, equipment and materials to complete the job properly and to the customers satisfaction.
- Manage and sustain high levels of customer satisfaction. Communicate clearly and follow up promptly to customer inquiries.
- Develop and maintain a customer base with referrals.
- Ensure company financial standards are maintained, including; but not limited to, profitability, productivity, payment schedules, subcontracts, terms, conditions and accurate invoicing.
- Perform daily work duties associated with the trade with little to no supervision in the field.
Job Requirements:
- Technically knowledgeable in the installation and operation of heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilating systems in residential homes.
- 3 years of trade experience in installing, operating, maintaining, and repairing HVAC equipment.
- Possess of a valid Florida License.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check – No Felonies.
- Possess an analytical and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow blueprints and understand technical instructions.
- Solid communication skills.
- Ability to supervise and ensure proper equipment installation to code; keep records.
- Ability to explain technical information to clients at a level they understand.
- Able to work independently.
- Effectively use a computer, and knowledge of applicable software.
- Work weekends and long days
