BRAND AMBASSADOR

In partnership with a major TV and film studio, we’re staffing up for the Stranger Things pop-up store, inspired by one of the most beloved pop culture TV series of our time. We’re looking for a group of ambassadors who will be responsible for managing the guest experience from greeting customers, stocking the store, managing flow, working the register and one to two special people who will be in character!
We’re looking for individuals who are intellectually rigorous, passionate, hardworking, like-to-have-fun, creatively curious and energetic to become the guests point of contact across multiple areas of the experience.

BRAND AMBASSADOR POSITIONS

Greeter*:

  • Oversee check in, ensuring that all guests with QR codes have checked in prior to being allowed to enter venue
  • Coordinate with Leads on a consistent basis to ensure the flow of guest is being controlled
  • Help manage store occupancy and assist security with line control

Cashier/Register*:

  • Communicate with guests about their experiences, ensuring they enjoyed their time with us
  • Coordinate with Leads and management about any concerns or any issues while the guests are checking out
  • Restocking all merchandise that is either not desired or returned
  • Operating the point of sale registers to check out customers with credit card and/or cash.
  • Communicate with the floater to ensure ‘go backs’ are addressed

Stocker/Floater*:

  • Responsible for maintaining all merchandise on the floor, ensuring shelves remain stocked
  • If certain items are out of stock, refilling shelves with comparable items in its place until new stock arrives
  • Maintain and sanitize all contact areas while stocking
  • Sweeping floors, maintaining cleanliness throughout the venue
  • Interacting with customers to ensure they have an amazing experience including asking trivia questions and helping customers take photos around the store.

Receiver:

  • Work closely with Stockers, getting them the supplies they need to keep the shelves stocked at all times
  • Work closely with management to update inventory sheets, par levels, and order of new merchandise
  • Communicates to management when inventory levels are low so they can place new stock orders
  • Receive in shipments, count in inventory and ensure product is properly tagged, barcoded and ready for the floor

In World Character:

  • Learn all scripts and theming of the different characters you will be portraying
  • Put on a scripted show for the public as they shop the retail space
  • Assist fellow staff members in different roles when not performing for the guests
  • Assisting with overall venue cleanliness and sanitation

*These team members will be trained in all roles to ensure adequate coverage for the duration of the pop-up event.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • All Roles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays if needed
  • Preferably (not required) ability to stand for extended periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs. unassisted; and bend, twist, and kneel with ease
  • Must have a positive, outgoing, energetic demeanor and able to maintain a good attitude
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Understands the necessity of keeping guests engaged in a fully immersive, in-world experience

  • Open 7 days a week
  • $19/hour
  • Part-Time and Full-Time positions available for the duration of the experience
  • Uniform (T-Shirt) to be provided, must wear all black pants and shoes
  • Must be available for multiple days of training ahead of the experience opening (included in dates above)
