SALES SPECIALIST

CyberUp is looking for a remote Sales Specialist to develop a cybersecurity workforce in Colorado’s Front Range by working closely with CyberUp’s LevelUp Manager and Arapahoe Community College point of contact to work with existing leads, finding new leads, advocating for our mission and core values, growing relationships with partner organizations, and matching employers with eager candidates. Focus on growing a regional and national workforce development program with the support of CyberUp and Arapahoe Community College, improve public awareness in training and hiring entry-level cybersecurity professionals, and engage in cyber-oriented research, development, and entrepreneurial activities under the leadership of CyberUp and Arapahoe Community College with your outgoing personality.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Specialist will work remotely with Arapahoe Community College and report to CyberUp’s LevelUp Manager. The Sales Specialist is responsible for the coordination and execution of CyberUp’s pre-existing employer outreach plan for cybersecurity workforce development and other day-to-day operations.
  • Generate qualified leads by leveraging technology to develop new employer prospects
  • Execute employer outreach plan, including cold calling, cold emails, and networking with prospects at trade shows, conferences, and industry events
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of existing outreach plan and communication strategy
  • Maintain relationships and participate in events with relevant community partners and industry associations
  • Become well-versed in CyberUp’s mission and model of reimagining the cybersecurity talent pipeline through apprenticeship
  • Manage and analyze data in CRM platform, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Meet quarterly goals to achieve desired placement numbers
  • Have a strong understanding of workforce trends and industry happenings in existing CyberUp markets and those poised for growth
  • Assist in matching employers with suitable job candidates

  • Must have strong and polished interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Creative, strategic, and analytical thinker with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Experienced in relationship building, recruiting, and public speaking
  • Must be highly organized and able to work well with others
  • Able to coordinate networking events and meetups
  • Flexible; possessing the ability to wear different, “hats” on short notice

SALARY
Base of $50,000 with bonus potential paid on performance.
