Prologis is seeking an ambitious and passionate Senior Financial Analyst to drive financial modeling for our energy project development efforts. You will assist with underwriting, financial reporting and analysis. In this role, you will interact with global and cross-functional teams.The types of renewable solutions you will help with will be innovative, meaningful and exciting. You will report to the VP Global Energy and will play a meaningful role as part of a top-notch team of Global Energy professionals who are driving value for Prologis.
Prologis is currently ranked #2 for onsite solar among US corporations and is actively engaged in solar, storage and EV projects in over 12 countries. We have almost 400MW of solar on our roof tops globally and are working towards 1GW at our sites by 2025. To meet these ambitious goals, we are growing our team and increasing sales of our renewable energy and sustainability solutions as we drive towards our goal of becoming the largest corporate energy company globally. Today, our solutions are mainly focused on on-site solar and battery storage but our roadmap includes off-site solar and storage, in front of the meter solar & storage, VPPAs, microgrids/resiliency, carbon offsets, REC trading and electric vehicle infrastructure. Anything we can do to help solve customer needs or drive value from our unparalleled real estate holdings is in play.
What’s needed in order to do that:
- You will have direct accountability and ownership of pro-forma creation and updating for our energy projects
- Coordinate closely with project developers, sales associates, other project development team members and FP&A to keep our development models up to date, accurate and intuitive.
- Assist with all development activities which are analytical in nature including underwriting, market assessment, SF.com reporting and uploading, forecasting, processing, and planning.
- Report on sales metrics on a monthly, quarterly and potentially weekly basis.
- Collaborate closely with Project Development, Asset Management, ESG, Risk, Accounting, Tax, FP&A and other cross-functional business leaders to ensure seamless business planning and operations
- Work with Asset Management on stabilized development reviews of renewable energy projects to assess project probability, explain variances from initial underwriting, and make recommendations to improve investment decision making
- Present forecasting, budgeting and reporting results to leadership, with a focus on key performance drivers
- Partner with Accounting, FP&A and Information Technology to support design and implementation of enterprise resource planning software and process mapping
- Participate in ad hoc analysis and improvement initiatives

- 3-5 years’ full-time experience in corporate finance, investments, or asset management ideally for a renewable energy or real estate firm.
- Bachelor’s degree with a focus in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or Data Analytics
- Positive, proactive work ethic and approach
- Proven ability to communicate effectively (oral and written) with customers, peers, management, contractors and vendors
- Demonstrated abilities to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
- Show tact, discretion, confidentiality and good judgment in handling sensitive and confidential matters and documentation
Hiring Salary Range of: $101,000.00 - $123,000.00. Salary to be determined by the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
