Busy, well established downtown Burlingame restaurant seeking experienced Server

Stella is expanding and building a strong team to be ready for it's new location.
Respectful team player, with a strong work ethic and balanced sense of urgency with attention to detail.
Current experience as a Server in a upscale dining, high volume restaurant.
Knowledge of Italian cuisine, wine and spirits required.
Passionate about the art of professional service.
Part-time or full-time schedules available (Must be able to work weekends)

We are looking for enthusiastic Servers to provide an excellent guest experience. Compensation includes salary and tips.

Responsibilities

• Interact with customers, take orders and serve food, wine and cocktails
• Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
• Diligent about opening and closing side work
• Be reliable, on-time and present yourself in a professional manner
• Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
• Comply with all food and beverage regulations

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a Server
• Excellent knowledge of our menu, Northern Italian Cuisine and Wine
• Computer literacy
• Knowledge of a second language is a plus
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep your station organized, stocked and clean
• Relevant training certificate
• Respectful team player, with a strong work ethic, and balanced sense of urgency and attention to detail.
