Shuttle Drivers are responsible for transporting guests and guides in a 15-passenger vehicle before and after the zipline canopy tour. Shuttle Drivers must have a clean driving record, focus on safety, and excellent communication skills. The position is an hourly part-time or full-time seasonal position.

2023 Season is May 26-Oct 31. Training occurs Mid-May. Full season availability preferred but not required.

The Company

Site: ArborTrek offers a thrilling tree-based aerial adventure near beautiful Stowe, VT. This gorgeous site includes a top-notch canopy tour, treetop obstacle course, and climbing adventure area. The canopy tour includes 8 ziplines, 2 rappels, and 2 sky-bridges. The treetop obstacle course includes more than 80 unique elements, ranging from easy to extreme. The climbing area offers 14 diverse climbing challenges. The site operates May-October.

The Position

Summary of Essential Job Functions Include but Not Limited To:

• Provides excellent customer service to all guests
• Safely drive guests and guides to and from the zipline course
• Pick up guests who choose to discontinue their tour and shuttle them to welcome center
• Strict adherence to all traffic laws and driving procedures
• Perform pre-use vehicle inspections
• Complete inspection paperwork and report any issues
• Help maintain tour flow by scheduling on time pick-ups and drop-offs
• Help with other support tasks between driving, such as gear clean up, lawn maintenance, cleaning, etc.
• Clear communication with staff, including through use of radios

Qualifications

• Must be 21 or older
• Must have a clean driving record and be able to pass background check
• Must be able to safely drive and operate a 15-passenger vehicle with passengers in all (operable) weather conditions
• Must pass initial vehicle training
• Ability to communicate and work as an effective team member
• Ability to speak in front of large groups effectively
• Risk management experience preferred
• Current CPR and First Aid certification preferred
• Dependable, responsible, reliable, and able to take directions as needed
• All staff are required to maintain excellent hygiene and maintain a professional appearance
• Able to walk or hike in uneven terrain
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule

• Must have a flexible schedule with full availability on the weekends and all holidays.
• Season is May-October. Trainings take place mid-May. Full season availability is preferred but not required.
