Support other traders and structurers on the SF desk, responsibilities include:
- overseeing, monitoring, and valuing portfolios of corporate loans (middle market, leveraged loans, unitranche, special situations).
- conduct in-depth portfolio analysis at the asset allocation and investment level
- managing life cycle events of existing transactions
- speaking with both internal and external clients to negotiate new and existing transactions
- assist in preparing term sheets, client presentations, and structure charts
- develop key partnerships throughout the firm to cultivate extensive knowledge of platforms and product offerings
- innovate and create new structures to align with the constantly shifting market and regulatory environment

Your team
You will be part of the Global Markets Structured Financing Team ("SF"). The desk provides bespoke leverage solutions on a variety of fixed income assets. Transactions range from short term repo to highly tailored long term financing solutions across TRS, Repo, and Secured Loan. Your primary focus will be to support the expansion of the Asset Back Lending portfolio in the US Middle Markets space. Clients include hedge funds, credit funds, private equity, BDCs and banks. The role is located in New York, NY.
Your expertise
- the Ideal candidate has a background in fundamental credit analysis, valuation and/or modelling. Traditional financial analysis, including spreading monthly and quarterly financial statements of middle market companies, monitoring compliance with credit agreement defined covenants and discounted cash flow modelling
- experience working in investment banking, asset management, or wealth management
- strong knowledge of global financial markets
- working knowledge of multi-asset class portfolio constructions (corporate credit and/or securitized products background a plus)
- desire to be client-facing and risk manager
- VBA or other relevant coding skills
- series 7 and 63 licenses (preferred)
- minimum 5+ years of experience
You are:
- experienced in Corporate Credit analysis and loan structures
- self starter with good negotiation skills and the ability to manage the demands of multiple stakeholders
- ability to multi-task and work effectively in a fast paced environment
- deliver consistent performance and demonstrate an ability to challenge where you see improvements required.
- advanced Excel skills/ability to manipulate data sets
- a skilled communicator, with strong presentation skills
- able to develop strong interpersonal relationships across Divisions and Functions.

Salary information
CA, CO, WA and NY based roles: The salary range for this role is $212,500 to $250,000 based on experience, education, and skill level. This role may be eligible for discretionary incentive compensation. For benefits information: ubs.com/usbenefits.
