Would you like flexible hours, during the week days working with children? Join our team and work to provide quality child care, parent/child experiences, parenting education and individual family support services.
Under the supervision of the classroom staff, assists in executing an education program for children 0-5 years of age in line with Head Start's educational goals and beliefs.
For 9 sites throughout Calaveras County, our Substitute Teachers assist staff set up work areas and implementing the instructional program in the classroom. Closely supervises and actively participates with children during playground activities. Directs individual and small group learning experiences in cooperation with staff members. Keeps all personal information about children, families and staff members confidential.
Variable Part Time Position: M - F, On Call, Flexible Hours
Salary Range: $ 15.25 per hour

Requirements:
- Minimum (6) Early Childhood Education core units OR (3) ECE units & currently-enrolled in (3) units , submit transcripts with resume
- Valid Calif. Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance coverage
- Physical Examination, proof of current negative TB test, immunizations required by Community Care Licensing and current influenza shot, COVID-19 vaccine requirement
- High School diploma or equivalent
