The Role:

Responsible for deliver projects that make an impact, partner with stakeholders across the business and embrace exploring new technologies to build better solutions. In this role you will operationalize, digitize, support, and evaluate the delivery of initiatives across areas of leadership development, talent management, team effectiveness, performance and development, inclusion, and culture.


Work conditions:

  • Full-time hybrid position based in Canada or US.
  • All candidates must be authorized to work in Canada or US.

Responsibilities:


Project Management:

Assist in the design, support and / or delivery of new programs, which may include:

  • Research
  • Vendor partnership
  • Change and implementation planning and management
  • Stakeholder engagement and management
  • Cross function/ location collaboration
  • Create content to support the education, embedding and implementation of new processes/ initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops/ information sessions/ training to ensure adoption of new processes/ initiatives

Advise:

  • Provide specialist advice on talent, learning and development activities.

Design, development, and maintenance:

  • Talent and Capability initiatives global and for the Americas region.

Coordination:

  • Various Talent and Capability events across the Americas:

o leadership program

o performance, assessment, development, and engagement programmes

o talent and succession planning

o training program delivery

  • Organizing training logistics, where required
  • Management of the inboxes, calendars, and sites for various programs
  • Communicating to facilitators, attendees, and internal stakeholders in a clear and timely manner to ensure the smooth running of learning programs
  • Reporting on key programs

Communications & Team Support:

  • Support the development of Talent and Capability functional networks in Americas to support the broader business. Networks will support the broader specialist functional needs in the absence of external or global teams and expertise.

Collaboration:

  • Coordinate People teams to collaborate and share knowledge and resources where appropriate. Support the sharing of knowledge, particularly from locations where the Talent and Capability function is more mature to those where it is low resourced or lower capability/capacity
  • Working in global Talent and Capability teams on initiatives, such as talent management including participating in weekly/bi-weekly meetings)

Operational Accountability:

  • Operationally, support the delivery of the Talent and Capability calendar of activities. Coordinate with other regions or business lines as appropriate.

External Providers:

  • Manage external provider relationships or preferred supplier agreements in the region, as required

What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

  • Relevant years of experience in Human resources field and support for talent initiatives
  • Prefer experience in resources, Oil & Gas, engineering, project management, or other industry related field.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Management or equivalent
  • CPHR, SHRM-SCP certifications an advantage

Required:

  • Experience in HRIS an advantage
  • English required.
  • Additional language skills (particularly Spanish and Portuguese) an advantage.
  • Computer literate, ability to visualize data via Excel, PowerPoint to understand and tell a story for maximum impact.
  • Understanding and awareness of the importance of HSE and how it inter-relates with Human Resources

Salary ranges in US - California and Colorado: USD 119,000 - 195,000
