Title: Technical Support Analyst

Location: Remote

Shift: 3rd (Can be scheduled Monday - Friday, 9pm - 9am)

Time Zone: Must be willing to support central or eastern

Duration: Contract to hire

Who You Are:

You’re a professional eager for an opportunity to provide technical support to both internal and external customers. You enjoy finding and implementing solutions to escalated concerns that occur during a project. You are a detail orientated individual who is customer service driven, has strong organizational skills, and has interest in technical troubleshooting and problem solving. You have knowledge and experience in multi-site technology rollouts, IT/ low voltage system installations, and construction projects.

This role services both internal and external customers. Internally, you will collaborate with members of the Technical Analyst and Project Management teams. Externally, you will provide support to onsite technicians.

Primary Responsibilities

- Understands project objectives, scope of work, and customer conditions for success.

- Works with onsite technicians to ensure proper installation, configuration, and testing of systems and equipment as needed, including but not limited to: access control devices, CCTV cameras, network switches, and Bosch alarm panels.

- Receives, evaluates, and completes support requests documented by the Level 1 inbound support team.

- Assists in mitigating risk to a project by identifying and reporting opportunities for improvement of the technical aspects of the project.

- Develops and maintains communications in a cooperative and professional manner with internal and external contacts.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate possesses or is pursuing a degree in an Information Technology related field or possesses a high school diploma or GED and 1-2 years of technical support experience.

Must-have proficiencies:

- Ability to parse device manuals and read technical documents and schematics

- Excellent troubleshooting skills

- Fundamental knowledge of network infrastructure principles

- Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

- Multi-site technology rollouts

- IT/ low voltage system installation principles

- Physical security concepts and installations

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
