Outpatient PT - 9:30am - 6:00pm
DEPARTMENT DETAILS:
OP Ortho clinic: orthopedic injuries, post-op, chronic conditions
Float Required: Yes; possibly float to OP clinic in La Mirada (5 miles away)
Daily Patient Load: 8-16 patients
Patient Age Group: Adolescents - Geriatrics
Documentation System: Allscripts
Certification Required: BLS
Scrub Color: Dark/Navy Blue
EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Outpatient clinic
- Home exercise programs
- Lifting and transfer
- Ankle sprains, cervicalgia
- Degenerative Disc Disease (DDD)
- Degenerative Joint Disease (DJD)
- Extremity mobilization, frozen shoulder,
- Gait training, hip fractures/injuries
- Knee injuries/tendinopathy
- Low back pain, lumbar traction, osteoarthritis
- Post Op Cervical Surgery, shoulder repair, spinal surgery
- Rheumatoid Arthritis, sciatica
- Spinal conditions, spinal mobilization
- Total hip and knee replacement
- Assistive Device Assessment
EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:
- Sports Medicine
- Biofeedback
- McKenzie
- Myofascial release
- Taping
- Temporomandibular Joint Disease (TMJ)
- COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Required + Booster - No Exemptions, Current Booster
