The Treasurer is responsible for tracking, maintaining, and overseeing the daily movement of money in and out of SAFCO?s banking accounts. This position is responsible for keeping track of multiple accounts associated with the business, and also making any payments owed to other parties (e.g., third party lenders).
Position Summary:

• Monitor daily liquidity and cash activity; determine short term borrowings and money movements to balance SAFCO?s daily cash position.
• Complete cash forecasting and assist with any financing.
• Provide a detailed reporting package to banks or senior lenders on a monthly basis.
• Prepare a daily cash spreadsheet to ensure all bank transactions are promptly recorded in the general ledger.
• Anticipate and manage debt balances; conduct borrowing and investing activities; compare data from various systems (e.g., banks, GL entries) to assist with reconciliations.
• Analyze and research company processes and procedures: recommend improvements and create new processes and procedures.
• Manage monthly rates and balances, loan documents, dependency thresholds, and potential impacts on covenants and metrics.
• Review and post all-cash journal entries required to complete month-end close. Prepare documentation for all material balance sheet account fluctuations.
• Develop comprehensive financial analysis based on discussions with management and lenders; build and maintain CFO dashboard.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
