Warehouse Order Selector - Cold Warehouse Job at Highland Provisions Co INC
We are a local Purveyor of premium quality products. Each Order Selector will work towards the common goals of the department with a positive attitude and willingness to learn, maintain attention to detail, and adherence to policies and procedures set forth by management will be observed at all times.
Each Order Selector selects products using a system to be placed on floats or boxes to be delivered to our customers by performing essential responsibilities listed below.
We offer benefits after 90 days. Medical, Dental, Vision, Accidental and Voluntary Life. We provide a $25,000 life insurance policy for full time associates after 90 days. 40 hours PTO after 90 days and 401K after 1 year.
We are looking for team players with a positive attitude and the ability to arrive on time and work all scheduled shifts.
The ideal candidate must have reliable transportation and be 18+ years of age.
This is a cooler environment, approximately 36 - 42 degrees.
Requirements:REQUIREMENTS
- 1+ years of experience with electric pallet jack.
- Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check with no probation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to bend, reach, crawl and pull unassisted.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Retrieves product in accordance with printed customer orders.
- Pulls orders according to sequencing on picking ticket.
- Packs product securely in totes.
- Clearly marks totes with store number.
- Verifies accuracy of picks prior to release of orders.
- Ensure that product is packed to ensure there is no damage.
- Restocks order selection zones as necessary during conduct of picking operations.
- Assist in cleaning the warehouse and maintaining a safe working environment.
