Warehouse Shipping Clerk Job at RKI Instruments, Inc.
RKI Instruments, Inc., an innovative and growing gas detection company located in Union City, CA is looking for a detail-oriented person with a strong shipping background as well as excellent communication skills to work in a fast-paced demanding environment.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and fill boxes and other cartons with items that need to be shipped
- Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs
- Process orders based on the buyer's preferred shipping system (e.g., USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.)
- Prepare hazardous material packages and paperwork according to regulations from both IATA and CFR
- Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed
Requirements
- A High School Diploma
- Minimum 3 years of related work experience
- Hazmat Certified preferred
- Computer proficient using UPS Online WorldShip and FedEx Ship Manager
