Who We Are Looking For:
We have an opportunity in Southern California for a Project Manager in our Water Infrastructure Practice. Our growing backlog of water and wastewater engineering and design work creates a chance to be involved in various projects that contribute to developing solutions addressing California water issues. The successful candidate will be a motivated, growth-oriented professional who can manage multidisciplinary projects to deliver treatment plants and collection/distribution design documents. You will have staff to mentor and clients to support. Not only will you have engineers to support you locally in our Southern California offices of Los Angeles and Laguna Hills, but our national Water Infrastructure team will help you deliver the highest quality product.
You will use your skills and expertise to manage multi-disciplined project teams from planning through conceptual and final design, construction, and operation for planning, treatment, collection, and distribution system projects. This job opportunity will increase management and client development responsibilities as you progress your career within Woodard & Curran. You will be a trusted advisor to our longstanding, valued clients and will be given the flexibility to manage your schedule to achieve your goals.
What You Will Be Doing at Woodard & Curran:

Manage project teams to develop process design basis, process flow diagrams, P&IDs, mass and energy balances, process data sheets, and recommendations for wastewater treatment plant/process upgrades.

Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, and specifications for various design projects.

Interface with engineering disciplines, sub-consultants, and other offices to develop and deliver design documents for wastewater treatment plant improvements.

Coordination and leadership of project team members and task leaders for on-budget/on-schedule project execution.

Provide technical support to sales for treatment plants and process improvements.

Willingness to Serve as a resource and mentor to less experienced staff members.
What You Will Need To Succeed:

Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, a closely related area, required. Master’s degree preferred.

10+ years of experience in water and wastewater planning, evaluation, and design

Strong written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

Professional Engineer licensed in California

Working knowledge of state and federal regulations governing wastewater treatment, disposal, and recycling.

Compensation
Pay:
This position’s anticipated pay range is provided below; final exempt salary or non-exempt hourly pay will be dependent on experience level as well as considering a % based geographic differential based on where the final candidate will be working. Geographic differentials are used to recognize and reflect cost of labor differences between geographic markets.
Annual Incentive Bonus Opportunity:
Eligible positions may receive an annual cash bonus based on the role’s organizational level, and is represented as a percentage range of eligible earnings**

$121,117.00 - $181,676.00
