Summary

We’re hiring a full-time Assistant Lead Housekeeper. We currently offer a $3 Weekend Shift Differential to all of our employees. Additionally, we have flexible scheduling, PTO available for employees that work at least 25 hrs per week, 401(k), and world-wide employee travel discounts!

This person will assist the Lead Housekeeper in all aspects of maintaining guest rooms and laundry at highest level of standards, and are in charge during the Lead’s absence. They also provide exceptional customer service and promptly respond to guests’ questions, complaints and requests.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Lead in performing administrative functions.
• Actively assists with cleaning guest rooms, in addition to checking the rooms of the other housekeepers.
• Provides courteous guest service and responds promptly to guest questions, complaints or requests.
• Assists with human resources related functions such as training of new employees.
• Notifies supervisor of any questionable working conditions that are not being maintained and of any supplies and equipment needed by the housekeeping employees.
• Notifies supervisor of any problems which should be acted upon in another department.
• Maintains proper employee/employer relations.
• Complies with and enforces the policies and procedures of Company.
• Provides or performs other services or duties as requested by the General Manager or Guest Services Manager. Has daily and regular contact with other employees and guests.
• Able to independently follow essential physical functions.

Qualifications

• Capable of successful completion of online and hands-on training certifications.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift a maximum of 50 pounds and push a cart that is 75 pounds.
• Previous housekeeping, cleaning or hotel experience required.
