Seeking long term candidates for stepping into a high quality custom countertop building position. We need mid-level experienced countertop position as well as very experienced position. Mid-level will continue to acquire skills.

-Holds knowledge of basic construction of both plastic laminate and solid surfacing countertops, also has ability/willingness to meld prior knowledge with the company standard procedures.

-Capable of: properly laying up loose laminate onto substrates, 3mm banding laminate countertop edges, flush routing laminate, providing tops with proper build up per shop drawings, performing solid surface seams/edge glue up, fabricating solid surface integral sink bowls, sanding solid surface with proper sequencing for flat uniform finish, etc.

-Sufficient in operating all necessary machinery/tools: Hand routers, orbital sanders, files, vertical panel saw, table saw, chop saw, seam kits, shaper, etc.

-Important qualities: Relentlessly pushing for more efficiency and higher quality, progressive and positive mindset, enjoys working alongside others, maintains composure, team player.

-Able to review shop drawings, create efficient cut lists for sheet goods, and cut out parts manually on panel saw with minimal waste. If not presently capable, we are interested in individuals who are highly interested and confident in being able to develop this ability.
