As a Talent Acquisition Partner, you get to dive into the fun and challenge of finding home nursing care providers to support our clients to integrate themselves, as best they can, into school, family, extracurricular activities, and the community while promoting and maintaining their health and safety. The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for full life-cycle recruitment including posting positions, sourcing passive talent, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and creating market specific recruitment strategies. The Talent Acquisition Partner is an extension of the HR department working with hiring managers to formulate methods to improve recruitment and staffing strategies to attract and retain top talent for the Agency.

What you'll be doing…

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs and to proactively source and attract talent to Universal Pediatrics.
  • Identify and implement innovative recruitment strategies and action plans within the state’s various regions and adjust approaches as needed.
  • Source and recruit candidates to build and manage talent pipelines through various internal and external sources and databases by leveraging technology which may include social media, online tools, industry relationships, community involvement and marketing efforts, to identify top talent.
  • Foster community and educational institution relationships for scholarships, internships, career fairs, and community-based programs.
  • Act as the main point of contact to build influential candidate relationships during the selection process and coordinate pre-employment process.
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes by screening and interviewing qualified candidates and providing recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Extend verbal contingent job offers and coordinate with the assigned Hiring Manager to draft written offer letters, conduct pre-employment screening, and execute onboarding next steps.
  • Complete weekly reports on employment activity and communicates to the office and Executive team, including helping determine KPIs and other reporting metrics.
  • Manage candidate activity in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and maintains recruiting related spreadsheets.
  • Champion Universal Pediatrics to promote employment value proposition - workplace culture, community involvement, and other benefits of joining Universal Pediatrics.
  • Serve as a back-up for onboarding new hires by conducting new hire orientation and onboarding, including communicating important employment information (i.e., benefits, compensation, non-compete agreements, etc.).

What’s required?

  • 3+ years of talent acquisition experience including sourcing of passive talent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
  • Must possess demonstrated fluency in full cycle recruiting, sourcing strategies, interviewing techniques and proficiency with social media.
  • Experience recruiting in healthcare industry preferred.
  • ATS technologies experience is required; ADP Workforce Now is a plus.

  • Knowledge of job posting sites, databases, recruitment marketing and professional social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Indeed.
  • Advanced computer skills required, including MS Office products.
  • Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to approximately 20 pounds when attending recruiting events.
  • Ability to travel, including overnights, across the state of South Dakota with occasional overnight travel to Iowa.
