At Sherwood Inspection our goal is to train and develop the next generation of highly qualified home inspectors. For more than 40 years SIS has been at the forefront of the initial and continuing development of the home inspection industry. The leadership team at SIS are committed to offering a unique one-of-a-kind intern training program that will equip its participants with the knowledge and confidence to begin an exciting new career in the home inspection industry.

As an intern you will:

• have access to a wide variety of training materials
• perform field training with licensed home inspectors
• receive help navigating the licensing process
• assistance with preparing to pass the national exam
• will have all tools provided (With the exception of cell phone and laptop)

Sherwood Inspection Services is looking to hire either already licensed home inspectors or individuals who are interested in becoming home inspectors through our industry best intern program!

**This is an unpaid internship. The intern process last between 12-16 weeks depending on the individual. **

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient computer skills
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license & insurance
• Must have reliable cell phone with texting & calling
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Good customer service skills
• Excellent verbal & written skills

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Learn about Sherwood Inspection Services services
• Availability to work weekdays
• Availability to work some weekday evenings and some weekends
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions
• Must be able to do physically active work (such as climb ladders, walk on roofs, access crawl space, enter attics as well as stand for long periods of time)
